"This tourist tee is of Copenhagen’s iconic bronze statue, The Little Mermaid that sits on a rock jutting out of the water in the Langelinie promenade. Based on the 1837 fairy tale by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen, the statue was sculpted by Edvard Eriksen in 1913 representing a mermaid turning into a human."
