Each piece is made by hand and has real flowers pressed in clay. The botanicals burn off in the first firing, after which the piece is painted with underglazes and glazed before the glaze firing. Every piece is unique and varies not only because it is hand made, but because it has unique flowers pressed in and individually colored.
