Repurposed vintage glass with classic Chell Fish flair! It's giving under the sea elegance. These almost look wet! Heavy and stunning and something to cherish till the end of time.
Handmade in Brooklyn by Michele Mirisola of Chell Fish. She uses a mix of oyster, mussel, scallop and/or clam shells, applies air drying clay details, and coats them in food-safe resin. Hand painted with gouache.

Care: Food safe! Hand wash. Do not microwave or put in the dishwasher. Foods that dye your fingers will probably stain the resin (like beets, turmeric, etc.). These will yellow if left in direct sunlight for many months - so maybe they aren't your best windowsill decoration! If used as an ashtray, burn marks will appear... so maybe also don't do that ;)
